Is it just me or does HBO have no idea what they are doing when it comes to Hard Knocks? So we have a show that airs four or five weeks and then after that we ship it off to NFL network to let people watch it. We do not make it available so people can buy a DVD nor do we allow people to have it online. HBO let me help you make a ton of cash. Ads! I know it’s not what you do. You say, “Hey pay us 15 dollars a month we will let you watch all the Hard Knocks you want (till we stop and send it over to NFL network) and we will toss in crappy movies that we have replayed five times a day (Have you seen “Mr. Magorium's Wonder Emporium”? Jeez that Hoffman can act.) Why don’t you do the smart thing like HULU or ABC and have your own channel. No you don’t have to put everything on there but you will be creating another form of ad revenue that you can reinvest in your programming. HBO your heyday seems to be over. When “Sex and the City” and “Sopranos” finished there was a collective gulp. We the people where asking “Great what’s next?” While you still have some staples like “Entourage” “Curb Your Enthusiasm” what maybe “Flight of the Concords”? While I have not seen the show “Hung” and whatever else has been out there you could make a killing off just setting up some kind of HBO player and having people watch the ads ever 10 minutes. 3 million turned out to watch the latest “Hard Knocks: Bengal’s”. Let me repeat that THE BENGALS! People would flock to watch this online. You are a foolish company that is letting profit fall right through your hands. People are posting this and file sharing it. Let the people watch it. Make some money off of it. You can show it the next day. Or a week behind, but you would still make a killing. Newspaper died to the internet, TV. is slowly dying to the internet. Paid programming check yourself before you wreck yourself.
